Youngsters Luke & Natasha from Upway and their two school friends Lucy & Katie want to thank Chalfont Heights residents who kindly supported their fundraising efforts in aid of Comic Relief.

The children spent several hours baking cakes and biscuits in the kitchen, and then offered them last Sunday to willing neighbours in Chiltern Hill, Lincoln Road & Woodside Hill.

The goodies were free but recipients made voluntary donations to Comic Relief. The children say they raised £128.30, which will all be forwarded to the charity.

The youngsters said: “We’d like to thank everyone who donated for their good spirit, kindness and generosity. Hope you enjoyed the cakes!”
