The purpose of the meeting is to make residents aware of what the Committee is doing in response to the several planning applications to develop Butlers’ Fields and also land on the Winkers site. We have taken legal advice but there is very little we can do to oppose the developments. What we can do is to try and modify them to reduce their impact on the estate. We will describe what we hope to achieve. We want to let residents know that the CHRC will not be leading a larger-scale protest along the lines of Sense4csp.
The EGM will also discuss the use of width restrictions and barriers to control both the traffic flow and unauthorised use of the estate’s roads.
